Director of IT, Seattle

Are you looking for an opportunity to really propel your career and take it to the next level, while working with a fun, dynamic, and growing company? Are you a born leader with strong work ethics? Do you love technology and have a curious mind? If so, read on.

Our client is looking for a Director of IT in their corporate headquarters in Seattle. You will be working on all their internal systems, linking them together, including their servers, ERP systems, linking them to marketing and their customer orders. It’s everything IOT! You will be reporting to the CEO. There are 6 people on your team. You will have the ability to assess the talent as well as hire additional team members that align with the technology vision and company goals. You are a proven leader with strong project management experience. You will be both hands on as well as strategic. They just bought a factory next door so you will have the opportunity to link those systems. You will own the servers including the backups and security. There are a total of 3 buildings that all need to be connected and talk to each other.

While they run on Epicor, you don’t need to know that system. It can be taught. However, you need to be strong in ERP’s, know how they function and have a curiosity to learn. They are a Windows shop however their display division works with Macs and their printers run on LINUX, so they have everything.

Fast forward a year, what will you be doing?

You have all 3 buildings connected, talking to each other with a secure backup plan. Your ERP has the ability to not only talk to each other, but the equipment can talk back to the ERP. If you need to reference a customer order, you can refer back to the ERP for the specific information. It has all the details. You have created a roadmap for the ERP and their processes. All their systems, ERP, and servers are functioning properly. You own all of the IOT. You are part of the Executive Team, planning the next 10 years of the direction of the company. You are implementing vs. just ideas. You are creating, challenging & driving the vision of the company. You are respected leader in the organization, owning the technology vision of the company.
